Antibiotic Prophylaxis Against Infective Endocarditis

Draft implementation advice Antibiotic Prophylaxis Against Infective Endocarditis is now available for consultation. This document has been developed following the 2016 amendment to NICE Clinical Guideline 64 (CG64).

This draft implementation advice aims to provide clear and practical advice for dentists on how to implement NICE CG64 and provide appropriate care for patients at increased risk of infective endocarditis.  The implementation advice is also of relevance to patients and the medical professionals involved in their care.

Feedback on any aspect of the implementation advice is welcome. Please download the consultation draft and provide comment by 31st January 2018. Please note that feedback received after this date may not be considered.
