Published in April 2011, this guidance provided clear and practical advice for dentists in primary care on how to provide care for patients prescribed bisphosphonate drugs. The guidance was placed under review in 2015 and an update, retitled Oral Health Management of Patients at Risk of Medication-related Osteonecrosis of the Jaw, was published in 2017.
