In 2012, SDCEP launched the Dental Prescribing smartphone app (DPapp), which provided a handy way of accessing information within the SDCEP Drug Prescribing for Dentistry guidance.
Developments in technology and a significant evolution in the ways that users access digital information mean that the DPapp has reached the end of its useful life. Therefore, we will very soon be withdrawing the DPapp and replacing it with a mobile-enabled website, which we have developed with NES Digital. The new website will provide the same content as the app with similar functionality and has the advantage that it can be viewed on any mobile device or desktop computer. Being a website, accessing content will require an internet connection.
On 26 January 2023 the new website will be available and we will provide details. The DPapp will then be removed from the App Store and Google Play.
