Today SDCEP hosted the first meeting of a UK-wide working group.
This independent group has been convened to conduct a rapid review of the international evidence related to bioaerosol generation in dental healthcare and mitigation of the associated risk of infection, with particular relevance to transmission of SARS-CoV-2.
The aim is that this review may be used by other organisations to inform guidance on the use of aerosol generating procedures in the provision of dental care.
