The Scottish Dental Clinical Effectiveness Programme (SDCEP) provides user-friendly, evidence-based guidance to support dental teams to provide high quality healthcare that is safe, effective and person centred.
SDCEP works in partnership with the Translation Research in a Dental Setting (TRiaDS) collaboration, the Scottish Dental Practice Based Research Network (SDPBRN), the Quality Improvement in Practice Team (QIiPT), and the Scottish Dental Postgraduate Fellowship (SDPF). These comprise the Clinical Effectiveness workstream of NHS Education for Scotland’s Dental Directorate. SDCEP also collaborates with the Cochrane Oral Health Group.
SDCEP also provides its guidance via the Dental Companion app.
